CLOSE THE BORDER!”Peter Bergen CNNTrump is already in general election mode and he knows that the southern border is a weak spot for President Joe Biden. Strangely, we aren’t hearing stories of terror attacks across the US by people who infiltrated the southern border. Yet no one is calling to build a wall across the Canadian border because of concerns that terrorists are pouring in across America’s northern border. The scaremongering about terrorists pouring across the southern border also misstates where the terrorist threat in the US largely emanates from. When it comes to acts of terrorism, it might behoove Trump to take a careful look in the mirror instead of misdirecting attention to the southern border.

Starbucks on Thursday reported quarterly earnings and revenue that fell short of analysts' expectations as weak international demand weighed on its results. However, Starbucks now expects negative same-store sales growth in China through the fiscal second quarter, followed by a reversal of the trend in the second half of the fiscal year. Globally, its same-store sales rose 5%, driven by a 7% increase in average transaction spend. In the U.S., Starbucks saw same-store sales growth of 10%, thanks to customers spending more and a 1% bump in traffic. Outside its home market, Starbucks' same-store sales shrank 13%, dragged down by China's dismal performance.
Our answer is yes, we would make a very small trim — 50 shares of our 750 share position in Starbucks (SBUX) — if we were not restricted from trading. This speculation hit the stock hard that day because China is a huge growth opportunity for the coffee retailer. SBUX 1Y mountain Starbucks (SBUX) 1-year performance There is a lot to be bullish about in Starbucks' future, but a lot of that good news is starting to get priced in. Following Thursday's positive session for stocks, the market pushed even deeper into overbought territory, according to the S & P Oscillator . Starbucks says it plans on opening a new store every nine hours over the next three years. About 10 years ago, the average China consumer drank less than 3 cups of coffee a year, according to Starbucks. The incidents allegedly occurred while Haddish was supposedly trying to help the youngsters get into show business, according to the suit. REUTERS/Lucy NicholsonRegister now for FREE unlimited access to Reuters.com RegisterWASHINGTON, Sept 19 (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said on Monday it had denied a request by Republic Airways to allow the regional airline to reduce the number of hours needed to become a co-pilot. The FAA said it disagreed with the airline's argument for allowing only 750 hours of flight experience instead of 1,500 hours. Several unions had opposed Republic's request, with some arguing that a reduction in flight hours and relaxation of standards "would jeopardize safety and result in inexperienced pilots," the FAA said. The regulations to boost flight hours for co-pilots stemmed in part from the February 2009 crash of Colgan Air Flight 347 in upstate New York that killed 50 people.
